A harness that is lovingly handmade by design-minded leather workers. In a world drowning in mass-production, we are bringing back true craftsmanship and heart. We make every harness in our tiny studio under the Hawthorne bridge in Southeast Portland, Oregon.

Switch Leather Co. harnesses are produced with the highest quality American leather and hardware. We use Horween brand leather, one of the only remaining tanneries in the United States. Horween's coveted Chromexcel leather uses a bark retannage and a custom blend of all-natural oils, creating a harness that will fit you like a glove and only improve with age.

Harness Care

Your harness may feel stiff at first, but will soften with use and with each washing.
To clean, wash gently with castile or other mild soap. Condition with a natural leather conditioner. We highly recommend using Otter Wax products to clean and condition your harness.
We offer a lifetime guarantee against manufacturer defect, please contact us if you experience a malfunction!

Our Story

Switch Leather Co. was founded by two queers in Portland, Oregon. We both have extensive backgrounds in leatherwork and other mediums such as sewing and woodworking. We realized there was a need for a high-end harness, so we set out to create a design worthy of our beautiful queer community. Since 2013, we have been committed to making this harness possible. We're excited to share it with you!
